No Boundaries focuses on beginners, but all levels of walkers and runners are welcome. The program is structured to help you cross the finish line of your first race in just 12 weeks! It can also help existing runners meet new performance goals. Along the way we'll provide you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs or walks, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. Plus, you'll have the camaraderie of others just like you! The Program meets twice a week during the training period, once on a weeknight and once on Saturday mornings. The workouts will last about an hour to an hour and a half as we increase mileage throughout the season.

Meets Tuesday Nights at 6:30 pm and Saturday mornings at 8 am. We meet at the Carrboro store, as well as various other locations around the Chapel Hill and Carrboro area. No Boundaries II is a follow up program to No Boundaries I - it's perfect for participants who are looking to run a faster 5K race or continue building their endurance. Our NOBO II group will focus on pace and form - to ensure we reach the finish line as stronger and healthier runners. We introduce different components of training that will help build speed and strength. Often our weeknight workouts will include speed or interval training, strength training or hill repeats. We encourage those who are complete the NOBO I program, Groups 3 & 4 to consider their next step to be training with the No Boundaries II group.
We offer this program during the Summer and Fall/Winter Sessions. For the Winter/Spring 2017 season we recommend the 4 Mile Program as a part of the 10 & 4 Mile Training.
