No Boundaries II - 4 Mile Training Program

No Boundaries II is a follow up program to No Boundaries I - it's perfect for participants who are looking to run a faster 5K/4 Mile race or continue building their endurance. Our NOBO II group will focus on pace and form - to ensure we reach the finish line as stronger and healthier runners. We introduce different components of training that will help build speed and strength. Often our weeknight workouts will include speed or interval training, strength training or hill repeats. We encourage those who are complete the NOBO I program, Groups 3 & 4 to consider their next step to be training with the No Boundaries II group.

Summer Program - REGISTRATION OPEN!

Quick Overview:

  • NOBO II Specific Information Sessions: Tuesday, April 25th, 7 pm at Fleet Feet Carrboro, and Wednesday, April 26th, 7 pm at Fleet Feet Durham.
  • Start Date: May 2nd, 7 pm (Carrboro) & May 3rd, 7 pm (Durham)
  • Season Logistics: Tuesdays @ 7 pm in Carrboro, Wednesdays @ 7 pm in Durham & alternates between the two stores on Saturdays at 8 am
  • Goal Race: Four on the Fourth race in Carrboro, NC on July 4th, 2017
  • Cost: $100 before May 1st (early bird), $110 after. You can also register for the race when registering for the training program and save $10!

 


5 Mile & 10K Training Program - Fall 2017

The 5 Mile & 10K Training Program is designed to further runners and walkers towards their fitness and running goals. It will include an education on and pursuit of different training techniques and tools in order to further enjoy running and improve their performance. There are occasional clinics covering a wide range of topical issues on running, health, wellness and nutrition from the area’s leading experts. The workouts will last about an hour to an hour and a half as we increase mileage throughout the season. In addition to the workouts there are educational clinics, motivational speakers, newsletters keeping you up to date, access to the area's top physical therapists, and expert coaching/mentoring to help inspire and motivate you on this training journey.

Quick Overview:

  • Starts: August 1st in Carrboro at 6:30pm and August 2nd in Durham at 6:30pm
  • Ends: RACE – Carrboro 10K AND Bull City Race Fest 5 Miler 
  • Information sessions: Tuesday, July 25th at 6:30pm in Carrboro & Wednesday, July 26th at 6:30pm in Durham
  • Choose your race or decide to train for BOTH events!  We will be training for the 10K and 5 Mile Distance in the Race Fest.  Anyone looking for the Bull City Race Fest Half Marathon is encouraged to participate in the Half and Full Marathon Program.
  • Season Logistics:Program meets twice a week for 12 weeks at your choice of Carrboro or Durham weeknight workout
  • CARRBORO: Program will meet on Tuesday nights at 6:30pm, Saturday mornings at 7:30am (alternates between the locations)
  • DURHAM: Program will meet on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm, Saturday mornings at 7:30am (alternates between the locations)
  • Program costs $105 - $135 depending on the program/race bundle option you choose!
  • Ideal for runners, run-walkers and all levels, ages, abilities
