The purposes of the Trail Heads are to: promote the joy of trail running; support the efforts of members to maintain an active and healthy life style; listen, learn and internalize the lessons taught by our natural environment and wilder spaces; and organize and encourage efforts to enhance, extend, and maintain Nature's reach into the lives of each member of our greater community.

Feel free to join us for a trail run! See times below. If you are new to trail running, you're going to have a lot of fun! If you are new to the local Carrboro and Chapel Hill trails, we will make sure you run accompanied and get back to Wilson Park when you need to be there.

Club Runs

Wednesdays – Trail Run – Wilson Park, 7:00 a.m.

45 to 60 minutes followed by coffee at The Open Eye Café. Newbies get free treats at the Eye, compliments of the club.

Saturdays – Trail Run – Wilson Park, 7:30 a.m. An hour or as long as you want to go. Followed by coffee at the Eye.

The Trail Heads welcome runners and outdoor enthusiasts of all levels.
