Fleet Feet Carrboro & Durham are teaming up with adidas to offer you an Advanced Marathon and Half Marathon - Boston365 Training Program. This is a 12 week program designed for two distinct purposes.  One is to prepare runners to qualify for Boston or to provide runners who have already qualified to race as VIP and train like pros (please use the Boston Now registration option - REGISTER NOW WE ONLY HAVE 5 SPOTS AVAILABLE).  The other is to help the intermediate/advanced runner who is hoping to take their training to the next level or achieve a specific time goal.  

Advanced Marathon and Half Marathon - Boston365 Training Program Details:

  • This is a coached, 12 week program designed to:
    • Help you physically and mentally prepare to qualify for the Boston Marathon
    • Provide you with the training knowledge to become faster and stronger
    • Build community and camaraderie to all participants who are looking to push their Marathon and Half Marathon training to the next level
  • Program Benefits:
    • Weekly 12 – week training program led by an expert coach
    • Smaller, more intimate sessions where you can work with the coach to fine tune your training
    • Monday Evening Speed workout at UNC Track
    • Thursday Morning Tempo workout from various locations in the Durham/Chapel Hill/Carrboro area
    • Fully Supported (key drop, Nuun, and water all provided) Saturday Morning Long Runs from Fleet Feet Sports Carrboro and Durham (depending on the week)
    • Emphasis on Hill Training to help make you a stronger runner on a hilly or flat course
    • Boston365 Team Tech Shirt
    • Weekly Email Newsletter with workouts, training tips, and special offers
    • On-site physical therapists through partnerships with Proaxis Therapy in Carrboro and Athletic Advantage in Durham
    • Assistance in selecting the right event for you to become a Boston Qualifier
    • Post Program Celebration!
  • Program Schedule: 
    • Monday Evenings 6 pm – UNC Track – Speed Workout
    • Thursday Mornings 6:30 am – Fleet Feet Durham (or other location TBD) – Tempo Workout
    • Saturday Mornings 7 am – Fleet Feet Durham or Carrboro (Location always announced in weekly newsletter) – Long Run - optional to do with the group/can do on your own
  • Participants must be able to maintain a training pace of 11:00 min/mile or less, run at least one half marathon before joining this program, and be comfortable running at least 6-8 (Half) or 8-10 (Full) miles on their own. Participants must be 18 or older.

For those who have already qualified for the 2016 Boston Marathon, you are invited to take advantage of a VIP training and Race Weekend experience brought to you by adidas and Fleet Feet Sports. Our 12 week Training Program is designed to help prepare you run your best Boston Marathon yet!

In addition to the training, your Boston Now package includes these VIP perks on Race Weekend:

  • VIP bus on Race Day
  • VIP lounge access post-race and throughout the weekend 
  • VIP party on Friday that will include drinks and appetizers at a local pub
  • VIP Lounge post-race with food, drinks, and massages
  • Special B365 training tech tee.

The cost of the Boston NOW program (with the VIP package) is $300.
