10K and 5 Mile Training Program

  • Starts: July 26th in Carrboro at 7pm and July 27th in Durham at 7pm
  • Ends: RACE – Carrboro 10K AND Bull City Race Fest 5 Miler 
  • Information sessions: Tuesday, July 19th at 7pm in Carrboro & Wednesday, July 20th at 7pm in Durham
  • Choose your race or decide to train for BOTH events!  We will be training for the 10K and 5 Mile Distance in the Race Fest.  Anyone looking for the Half Marathon is encouraged to participate in the Half and Full Marathon Program.
  • Season Logistics: Program meets twice a week for 12 weeks at your choice of Carrboro or Durham weeknight workout
    • CARRBORO: Program will meet on Tuesday nights at 7pm, Saturday mornings at 7:30am (alternates between the locations)
    • DURHAM: Program will meet on Wednesday nights at 7pm, Saturday mornings at 7:30am (alternates between the locations)
  • Program costs $105 - $135 depending on the program/race bundle option you choose - registration will increase $10 after the Free Workout 
  • Ideal for runners, run-walkers and all levels, ages, abilities

Description: Are you ready to take the next steps in your training? This program is designed to further runners and walkers towards their fitness and running goals. It will include an education on different training techniques and give runners and run/walkers the tools to enjoy activity and improve their performance. Train for either race with the group, or both!
